ASSA ABLOY has acquired Metal Products Inc. (MPI), a US manufacturer specialising in custom-made hollow metal doors and frames. The move aligns with ASSA ABLOY's strategy to bolster its portfolio in mature markets by integrating complementary products and solutions.

MPI's operational footprint
MPI, established in 1980, operates from its main office and factory located in Corbin, Kentucky, USA, employing approximately 170 people.
The company's sales for 2024 reached approximately MUSD 22 (around MSEK 230), demonstrating a healthy EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to ASSA ABLOY's earnings per share (EPS).
