Charles Penning, the Technical Specialist for IDIS, has over ten years’ security industry experience and a wealth of technical expertise in both analogue and network surveillance. He is responsible for strengthening the IDIS technical team to provide technical support and training across the UK and Ireland. He also works closely with IDIS headquarters research and development to drive voice of the customer product enhancements Prior to joining IDIS, he spent four years in technical roles with Samsung Techwin following tenures with Bosch and Forward Vision CCTV. Penning holds an NVQ in mechanical engineering from the Basingstoke College of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology certification for security system installation, repair and inspection.
