Tenable Holdings, Inc. has announced the launch of the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source AI exchange specifically designed to facilitate industry collaboration and enhance collective cyber defence. Powered by Tenable, this platform is currently the only one of its kind to focus solely on cybersecurity-specific AI agents, skills, MCP servers, and multi-agent playbooks.
As the reliance on AI grows for scaling security operations, many security teams struggle by developing AI agents in isolation, leading to repeated efforts and inefficiencies. Existing AI exchanges often do not cater solely to cybersecurity needs, which can result in navigating irrelevant cases or being restricted by vendor lock-in. The CyberAgents Exchange aims to resolve these issues by offering a dedicated platform to enhance coordinated development efforts and share resources that bolster defence against AI-generated threats.
Transparency and trust at its core
The CyberAgents Exchange provides users with an open and free-to-use platform where code-level visibility is a fundamental feature. It allows participants to see who created each AI component and when it was established, as well as its peer-supported status. This transparency enhances the ability of users to deploy trusted AI components tailored to their organisational needs, fostering verifiable expertise among practitioners and building a catalogue of respected AI resources.
Highlighting the industry's dedication to open-source AI defence, SentinelOne and Recorded Future have teamed up as founding members of the CyberAgents Exchange. These organisations are set to contribute their knowledge in autonomous security operations and threat intelligence, assisting in establishing the Exchange as a non-partisan ecosystem. Contributions from these members include AI agents, integration frameworks, and playbooks to strengthen the community's defence against rapidly evolving threats.

To celebrate the launch, Tenable is organising “SWARM: The Cybersecurity Agentic AI Build Event,” a multi-day affair at Black Hat USA 2026, supported by AWS and Anthropic. Participants will have the opportunity to develop open-source security agents, skill files, or MCP servers. The event concludes with the announcement of winners on August 6, 2026, featuring over 50 available AI components.

Open-source security agents
In conjunction with the launch, Tenable is hosting “SWARM: The Cybersecurity Agentic AI Build Event,” a hands-on, multi-day event at Black Hat USA 2026 sponsored by AWS and presented with support from Anthropic. At the event, security practitioners will build open-source security agents, skill files or MCP servers. Winners will be announced on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
More than 50 AI components, released under open-source licenses, are available, including:
- Navi (Agent): A command-line tool that leverages the Tenable One Vulnerability Management APIs to automate common vulnerability management and cyber exposure workflows.
- SentinelOne Purple AI (MCP Server): Allows users to access SentinelOne services with any MCP client.
- Recorded Future MITRE APT Attack Path Analysis (Skill): Pulls an organisation’s Recorded Future threat map, maps an APT group's MITRE ATT&CK techniques and cross-references against live Tenable findings to identify which attack path nodes are actively exploitable.
- SOC-Hunter (Skill): Leveraged daily by Tenable’s internal security operations team, SOC-Hunter provides proactive, hypothesis-driven threat hunting using the LOCK pattern across SIEM, EDR, VM, CSPM, CASB and code search.
- The Hounds Pack (Playbook): A skill-packaged playbook for The Hounds — 18 exposure-management specialists that hunt, tag and calibrate risk.
