IDIS Europe has announced the appointment of Brian Lee as the new Managing Director, marking a strategic step in promoting the adoption of AI-driven video surveillance technologies, with an emphasis on enhancing system performance and value. Lee previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales Development for IDIS Americas, where he played a crucial role in expanding the company's presence in North America and Latin America.

In his new role, Brian Lee will lead IDIS Europe, focusing on strengthening the company's success in the region. This involves growing the sales team, revamping marketing and public relations strategies, and fostering relationships with integration partners in the UK and mainland Europe. Lee highlights that his appointment aligns with IDIS’s global advancements, particularly in the realm of AI technology.

Lee points to recent innovations, including the Edge AI Plus camera series, IDIS A-Cut/AI search, and Smart Privacy Masks, as key elements in delivering enhanced value and efficiency in AI video surveillance. These technologies simplify user experiences by offering improved real-time video search capabilities and precise privacy masking features, all within a flexible and cost-effective framework.

Lee’s arrival brings a wealth of experience acquired through his tenure at LG Electronics and an MBA from Korea University in Seoul.

Brian Lee was most recently Senior VP of Marketing & Sales Development for IDIS Americas, based in Dallas, and was instrumental in growing the North American and LATAM business.
He previously held a headquarters position as Head of the Global Strategy Team for the company, South Korea’s largest in-country video technology manufacturer.
