| Avigilon promoted Bryan Schmode to Executive Vice President and Pedro Simoes to Senior Vice President |
Avigilon Corporation, a leader in high-definition (HD) surveillance solutions, recently announced the promotion of two of its top performers: Bryan Schmode to Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, and Pedro Simoes to Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
Mr. Schmode has been promoted to executive vice president of global sales and marketing, adding oversight of Avigilon's global marketing, communications and product management to his current mandate. Since joining Avigilon in 2008, Mr. Schmode has been instrumental in increasing sales and growing the team worldwide. Mr. Simoes has been promoted to senior vice president of global sales. Having joined Avigilon in 2009, Mr. Simoes has significantly expanded sales in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Mr. Keith Marett has resigned from his role as executive vice president of marketing, communications and product strategy. He will stay on as an advisor and consultant to Avigilon for six months to ensure a successful transition.
