Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, announces the discreet and cost-effective AXIS M1145-L and AXIS M1145 network cameras featuring full HDTV 1080p resolution and highly efficient H.264 video compression with remote zoom and focus for exceptional image usability. AXIS M1145-L is also equipped with built-in and adjustable IR LED illumination – called OptimizedIR – for easy and discreet day and night video surveillance.
These two new fixed cameras in the AXIS M11 Series enable clear identification day or night, and are ideally suited for professional indoor surveillance applications in retail stores, boutiques, restaurants, hotels and offices.

AXIS M1145-L and AXIS M1145 network cameras provide HDTV 1080p resolution video at full frame rate and offer multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams that can be individually optimised for bandwidth and storage efficiency. Additional features include support for edge storage with a built-in microSD/SDHC memory card slot, pixel counter, Axis Corridor Format, Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) and an I/O port for PIR sensor options.
With their slim and compact design, the cameras enable quick and easy installation, simple setup and a trouble-free video surveillance solution for applications where monitoring is required around-the-clock. Additionally, to minimise environmental impact, the plastic parts in AXIS M1145-L and AXIS M1145 contain 39 percent and 42 percent recycled plastic respectively.
