The PF-20 is provided with a 'first alarm' memory. After an alarm occurs, this is memorised and the alarm LED will start blinking when the system is disarmed. All signals are converted from analogue to digital so the microcontroller has a detailed picture of the infrared signal and can process it accordingly. The sensor performs self-diagnostics at regular intervals to ensure proper performance.
