VIOTRAN HLC-83M - megapixel CMOS IP camera with two-way audio and onboard recording

The HLC-83M is a megapixel camera that utilises a 1/4" CMOS image sensor with a 4.0mm F2.0 lens and has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1204 pixels.  This is a significantly bigger picture than the HLC-83V.  It has RJ45 connection for LAN connection to a PC router or the Internet.  It can record on movement directly onto an onboard SD card (which can be up to 4 Gb - around 2,000 clips) and so eliminates the need for a DVR or for the PC to be permanently switched on.

When connected to a router, it can email up to two user defined addresses and send a 15-second video clip of the incident starting five seconds before the detection.  In this configuration, the HLC-83m can also be viewed from a remote site via the Internet.  The two-way audio facility allows the environment to be heard remotely and facilitates two-way communications.
