The video solutions from ABUS attracted a great deal of interest from the trade fair visitors

Several thousand trade visitors from 115 countries specifically sought out the ABUS trade fair stand in order to get a first-hand look at the new technical possibilities of the ABUS world of products. On roughly 528 m2 of exhibition space and a second exclusive trade fair stand that presented the new Ultivest wireless alarm system, the ABUS Group presented more than 30 product innovations. The focus of the trade fair appearance was on the combination of mechanical and electronic safety technology both for private as well as commercial use.

The smart electronic solutions for home use also attracted a great deal of attention from the visitors: in addition to the digital HD door viewer, the focus was on the new Eycasa wireless video intercom system with the Family Care Camera.

With the new mechanical additional safeguards for doors, the ABUS Group underscored its competence in the area of easy-to-install retrofitting systems. Highlights at the trade fair stand included the innovative access control system of the CodeLoxx series from Seccor as well as the newly developed lockup system Y14 Deltus and the Bravus lockup system, which is based on four levels that build on each other. Both systems offer an as yet unrivaled combination of patent protection, trademark protection, and technical copy protection. The newly developed apps for alarm systems, video surveillance, and fire safety show that ABUS has its finger on the pulse of the time with mobile enabled security. The video solutions from ABUS – from starter cameras to highly professional HD-SDI and IP cameras to the Tribrid HDVR video surveillance recorder – attracted a great deal of interest from the trade fair visitors. What all of these solutions have in common is video management software “made in Germany”.

The new high-end wireless alarm system Ultivest, which was presented exclusively at a second trade fair stand, is exemplary for this networking. The bundled security expertise of the ABUS Group is demonstrated in its perfectly integrated functional diversity. From sophisticated wireless alarm technology and active burglary protection with mechatronic¬ components to video integration and access control to integration in the building management system using KNX, Ultivest leaves nothing to be desired.

A practical demonstration of ABUS products could be seen in the “ABUS House,” where these products were installed in accordance with their function. The ABUS Concept Store demonstrated to partners how shops with the modified ABUS shop-in-shop system can become a real draw for customers.

Michael Bräuer, Marketing and Public Relations Director at ABUS KG, was very satisfied with the participation in “Security Essen” 2012: “With the topic of network security, we were trendsetters at the fair. Our thanks goes out to the many partners who took the time to learn about the many innovations of the ABUS Group at the new trade fair stand.”
