Zenitel, a company specialising in unified critical communication solutions, has enhanced its team in the Americas Onshore Business Unit by appointing a new regional sales leader.
David Douglas will take on the role for the Southwest region, covering Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada. David brings a strong background in the security, public safety, emergency management, and public education sectors, underpinned by a 31-year tenure in Southern California law enforcement.
Experience in the security sector
Following his career in law enforcement, where he was also a first responder during the 9/11 attacks, David transitioned into the private sector. He developed a reputation for outstanding customer service, forming robust client relationships, and consistently driving business growth. His past roles with the integration firm American Integrated Security Group (AISG), as well as with Motorola's A&E group and their Federal Government Division/DoD, reflect his capabilities.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University, Long Beach, and is a board member of Optelligent Market Solutions, an organisation that aids companies in entering the US physical security market.

David will be based in the Reno, Nevada area, as he returns to his roots in the region and continues his career in the security sector with Zenitel.
