TKH Security Solutions' IP video surveillance solution helps Barcelona's metro run efficiently

Over a decade ago, Barcelona Metro authorities installed an analogue CCTV to streamline daily operations and combat delays. To further improve the system, over 100 additional cameras were installed and the central control room was fitted with a video management system. Metro authorities also sought to migrate to an IP System for this project and found that the Siqura recording solution from TKH Security Solutions was the best option. They were already familiar with Siqura's solutions as Siqura's fibre optic transmitters and receivers were previously used to stream data and video. Siqura encoders were also incorporated into the system to transmit IP streams. Today, the Barcelona Metro surveillance network facilitates the operation and safety of one of Europe's largest metro systems.
