The increased visitor numbers in Kuala Lumpur reflects keen interest in latest UK technology Integrated security manufacturer TDSi announces a 23% increase in visitors to its stand at IFSEC Southeast Asia 2016, compared to last year. The TDSi team at the show in Kuala Lumpur enjoyed meeting a range of installers, system integrators and end users earlier this month, with a sneak preview of its new web-based GARDiS solution being a key draw. Great amount of visitor enthusiasm and interaction Sophie Wilkins, Marketing Executive at TDSi commented, “IFSEC Southeast Asia was again a great success for TDSi, with a tangible increase in visitors and keen interest from those that attended. There was a great amount of visitor enthusiasm and interaction across the show and especially with TDSi’s latest systems.” Sophie added, “As a key exhibitor on the UK Pavilion, we were also proud to present some of the best solutions the UK security industry has to offer. Naturally we had a lot of visitors from Malaysia as the host nation, but equally we had a lot of interest from visitors from across the region including Singapore, Philippines and Cambodia – as well as further afield, ranging from Japan to Saudi Arabia.” Software and systems integration Software and systems integration was the key theme on this year’s stand. Along with GARDiS, TDSi also showcased many of its other key products including the latest version of its EXgarde security management software. The new version provides full integration with ASSA ABLOY’s KS100 server cabinet wireless electronic lock, which provides the ability to include the physical security of servers within the wider security network. EXgarde can also be used to oversee and control a number of complementary security systems such as Texecom’s intruder panels and SimonsVoss’ SmartIntego wireless door locks. Also on show were TDSi’s SOLOgarde, MICROgarde and EXcel controllers, the company’s enterprise solutions, and the powerful integration possibilities between its own software products, including EXgarde and the VUgarde CCTV VMS. Drawing interests from markets globally IFSEC Southeast Asia follows another highly successful appearance at IFSEC International in London in June (which itself saw a 21% increase in new visitors and 38% increase in export markets visitors). TDSi believes this is clear reflection that the UK security industry has an impressive and well-deserved reputation for quality and innovation, which draws interest from markets across the world. Sophie concluded, “We are very encouraged by this increased interest in our products and services. Kuala Lumpur has again proven to be an ideal location for meeting our partners and customers in the Asia Pacific region. Crucially, it is also a reminder that there has never been a more important time for UK suppliers to embrace international markets and to win new business. As a business we generate a large percentage of our revenue from export markets and our international partnerships and customers are vital to our continued success.”
TDSi will be giving visitors a chance to see its new range of GARDiS software and hardware solutions Integrated security manufacturer TDSi will be giving visitors a chance to see its new range of GARDiS software and hardware solutions at IFSEC Southeast Asia 2016, which is being held in Kuala Lumpur from 7th-9th September. The show follows this year’s highly successful IFSEC International in London, which saw increased stand visitor numbers and considerable interest in the company’s latest web-based product. IFSEC International success Sophie Wilkins, Marketing Executive at TDSi commented, “We were thrilled by the interest in GARDiS at IFSEC International, so we are very excited to be showcasing it to visitors, customers and partners in Kuala Lumpur in September. This will be the fourth time we have exhibited at IFSEC Southeast Asia and last year we enjoyed a 50% increase in visitors, so we have great expectations that 2016 will prove to be another highly successful event.” Sophie continued, “IFSEC Southeast Asia gives visitors who were unable to visit London, the chance to see GARDiS for themselves. As a web-based application it offers greater flexibility and suitability to modern applications, whilst maintaining the highest levels of security and dependability. We have ensured the range is built around an ONVIF Profile A and C compliant platform, which has recently been adopted by The IEC as the de-facto new international standard for access control. This makes GARDiS highly compatible with many other systems and suppliers, as well as being significantly future-proof.” Key products and themes As well as offering visitors a chance to see the GARDiS solution, TDSi will also be showcasing many of its other key products, with software and systems integration being a key theme on the stand. TDSi will also be showing visitors how the latest version of EXgarde provides full integration with ASSA ABLOY’s KS100 server cabinet wireless electronic lock, which provides the ability to include the physical security of servers within the wider security network. Equally, EXgarde can be used to oversee and control a number of complementary security systems such as Texecom’s alarm control panels and SimonsVoss’ SmartIntego wireless door locks. Also on Stand UK01, TDSi will be showing its SOLOgarde, MICROgarde and EXcel controllers, the company’s enterprise solutions, and the powerful integration possibilities between its own software products, including EXgarde security management and VUgarde CCTV VMS. Meeting the team As well as products, IFSEC Southeast Asia is the perfect opportunity to meet and speak to the TDSi team, as Sophie concluded, “This show is just as much about talking to customers and partners as it is about showing the latest technology. Our team will be on hand to answer any queries you might have or to make suggestions on specific project needs. The region is a rich and interesting one, with a number of thriving and growing security markets. This is very much reflected in the host city, so we are always excited to visit Kuala Lumpur and are looking forward to taking part this September.” Save

Recently members of TDSi team visited the charity's hospice in Corfe Mullen, Dorset and a reciprocal visit was made by staff from the hospice to show the rest of the team at TDSi's headquarters in Poole exactly where the fundraising money goes and how it helps the people involved. Sophie Wilkins, Marketing Assistant at TDSi, was one member of the team that visited the hospice and commented, “It was a great insight into the wonderful work that Julia's House does and how it makes a huge impact on the children and their families that desperately need the charity's help. We had a tour of the facilities and met the staff that help people on a daily basis, sometimes under very challenging circumstances.” Sophie added, “The whole company is looking forward to starting the fundraising campaign, and we have some interesting ideas in the pipeline already – including another charity 'Bake-off' competition, which proved so popular last year! We have also had proposals of quiz events and other social and fun activities that make the fundraising equally enjoyable for the team.” TDSi embracing charity The TDSi team are no strangers to embracing charity fundraising activities.
