Florian is the Director of AI Strategy and Managing Director in Vienna for Genetec. He co-founded KiwiSecurity in 2008, a company specialised in video analytics software by bridging security and privacy, which was later acquired by Genetec. He has a master's degree in Computer Graphics and Digital Image Processing from the Vienna University of Technology, as well as a PhD in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, Finland, for his work on privacy protection in video surveillance.
