Resideo Technologies has unveiled advanced features in its First Alert security solutions at ISC West 2026, aimed at enhancing both residential and small-to-medium business (SMB) security services.
The key innovations include the AI Smart Search for First Alert® CX4 video cameras and a pioneering cloud-based access control integration with ProdataKey (PDK).

The AI Smart Search function in First Alert CX4 cameras employs generative AI to swiftly detect and categorise data. This capability allows users to use natural language descriptions to easily find pertinent video clips via the Total Connect® 2.0 app and web interface, bypassing the need for manual searches across numerous camera feeds.
Additionally, the access control integration merges PDK’s platform with Resideo’s First Alert systems and software. This creates a seamless security experience across various doors, buildings, and locations by enabling synchronised user management from a single portal. Furthermore, it allows the security system to be armed or disarmed using a valid PDK credential upon entering or leaving a premises.
