The 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit began on 27th November 2020, under the theme "Building the Belt and Road, Strengthening Digital Economy Cooperation." DNAKE, a participant in this international event, showcased its products including building intercom solutions, smart home systems, and nurse call systems. The expo, co-sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce, the ASEAN member states, and the ASEAN Secretariat, is organised by the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. During the opening ceremony, Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed the attendees.
Enhancing Belt and Road Collaboration
President Xi Jinping highlighted the longstanding connection between China and ASEAN nations, noting, "China and ASEAN countries, connected by the same mountains and rivers, share a close affinity and a longstanding friendship. The China-ASEAN relationship has grown into the most successful and vibrant model for cooperation in the Asia-Pacific and an exemplary effort in building a community with a shared future for mankind." He also emphasised that China prioritises ASEAN in its neighbourhood diplomacy and supports the region's central role in East Asian cooperation.
Technological Showcase of DNAKE
At the expo, DNAKE's booth drew numerous visitors from various Chinese provinces and ASEAN countries, who praised the company's technological innovations. Key products such as face recognition access control systems and smart home technologies were featured. DNAKE has long valued its collaborations with Belt and Road countries, successfully introducing smart home solutions in regions like Sri Lanka and Singapore. Notably, in 2017, DNAKE delivered intelligent services to Sri Lanka's "THE ONE" building.
Advancing Digital Connectivity
President Xi underscored China's initiative to work with ASEAN on advancing digital connectivity by building a digital Silk Road and cooperating with the World Health Organisation to construct a global health community. Smart healthcare, gaining importance, was highlighted by DNAKE's exhibition of their smart nurse call system, which drew significant attention for its smart ward and information-based hospital components.
Future Prospects and Innovation
Looking forward, DNAKE intends to leverage international cooperation to extend its smart hospital products to additional countries. During the Xiamen enterprises forum at the expo, Christy, DNAKE's Overseas Sales Manager, remarked, "As a listed high-tech enterprise rooted in Xiamen, DNAKE will firmly follow the national strategic direction and the development of Xiamen city to promote cooperation with ASEAN countries with own advantages of independent innovation."

In the exhibition, many visitors from different provinces and cities in China and various ASEAN countries came to the DNAKE booth. After detailed understanding and on-site experience, the visitors were full of praise for the technological innovation of DNAKE products, such as face recognition access control systems and smart home systems.
For years, DNAKE always cherished the opportunities for cooperation with the “Belt and Road” countries. For example, DNAKE introduced smart home products to Sri Lanka, Singapore, and other countries. President Xi Jinping stressed that “China will work with ASEAN on the China-ASEAN Information Harbour to advance digital connectivity and build a digital Silk Road. Also, China will work with ASEAN countries and other members of the international community through greater solidarity and cooperation to support the World Health Organisation in playing a leadership role and to build a global community of health for all.”
