DVTEL PTZ Tracker (TRK-101-P) is an enhancement of TRK-101 and includes all the features of TRK-101. It adds video analytics capabilities to PTZ cameras, turning them into powerful, real-time detection devices for perimeter protection applications. PTZ Tracker's firmware version 2.1.2.132 may also be used with TRK-101 and SC1.
PTZ Tracker is ideal for current TRK-101 customers who want to add PTZ functionality to their existing systems simply by connecting their analog PTZ camera via RS-485. Features include:
- Autonomous PTZ tracking
- Hand-off from fixed camera to PTZ Tracker
- Detection on presets
PTZ Tracker also helps PTZ customers migrate from MPEG-4 to H.264 and take advantage of the following functionality:
- Storage on the Edge (SoE) with remote backup
- Access remote units over the web for live and SoE playback (Site Viewer)
- Remote setup and control of encoder across firewalls
- Easy recording setup for multiple cameras (Batch Solo Setup)
- Better analytic detection than MPEG-4
