ADT locks down door-entry systems with BPT

ADT, Europe's leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions, has announced that BPT Security Systems UKwill be a chosen partner for video and audio door entry systems supplied by ADT. The new partnership came into force in 2011 and covers the UK and EMEA region.

BPT Security Systems has been a long-standing partner of ADT, supplying bespoke and high-end door entry systems for specialist applications and large, specified projects. After a thorough review of an array of door entry vendors, ADT decided to consolidate on BPT Systems for the full range of entry-level, off-the-shelf box kits for ‘single button to single receiver' systems to specialist, audio and colour video touch-screen door entry solutions.

"We have always been very impressed by the quality and reliability of BPT Security Systems products, as well as the high level of customer and engineer support." commented Peter Stanton, Security Product Manager, ADT. "We are confident that the partnership will see us deliver even better value to our customers whether they need an entry-level or highly specified solution."

The exclusive partnership will allow close integration of products such as access control and proximity readers with the door entry systems, with all hardware bearing ADT branding. ADT and BPT will continue to work together to deliver on customised, high-specification projects.

"We have enjoyed a great relationship with ADT on specified projects and are excited about the expansion of the partnership to include the full gamut of door entry systems." said Mark Kurland, BPT Security Systems

ADT and BPT will offer door entry systems suitable for home and business installations, providing a full range of functionality ranging from voice, to colour video. For more information about door entry systems please visit www.adt.co.uk
