ABUS Security Center is presenting the new Secvest 2WAY FG350E wireless window handle another member of the mechatronic wireless detector family. The window handle is the discreet solution for external perimeter protection. It is compatible with the Secvest 2WAY and Secvest IP wireless alarm systems and is also a practical alternative to wireless opening detectors. The wireless window handle not only locks windows or balcony doors, but also reliably transmits the status (open or closed) of the windows to the alarm centre.

A discreet solution with added value

In addition to normal, single-handed operation of windows with tilt-and-turn fixtures, the FG350E also acts as a conventional wireless opening detector. The advantage over a wireless opening detector is the lock monitoring of the new wireless window handle. In comparison to regular opening detectors, wireless window handles detect and transmit open positions of windows to the alarm system. This, in turn, guarantees that alarm systems are only activated when all windows are closed. This means that false alarms due to supposedly shut windows are a thing of the past. Of course, the window handle also raises the alarm reliably during break-in attempts.

Installation and availability

Installation of the FG350E wireless window handle is remarkably simple. It replaces the standard handle and ensures security in next to no time. The Secvest 2WAY FG350E wireless window handle will be available immediately in white, brown and silver.
