Arecont Vision advances its partnership with NUUO to facilitate H.264 megapixel camera and NUUO’s network video recording integration
Arecont Vision teams up with NUUO Inc to enable seamless integration of their respective products

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in megapixel IP camera technology, furthers its alliance with Taiwan-based NUUO Inc. to enable seamless integration of Arecont Vision's innovative H.264 megapixel camera line with NUUO's IP+ network video recording (NVR) software.

"With the dramatic reductions in bandwidth and storage achieved by Arecont Vision's H.264 megapixel cameras, we have experienced a rapid adoption of the technology by the surveillance industry," said Nathan Wheeler, Arecont Vision's Sales Manager for the Western US and Canada. "Combining the system savings achieved with our H.264 megapixel IP camera line with the well established and cost efficient network video recording solutions from NUUO will enable even more users to reap the rewards of High Definition Surveillance at substantial overall cost reductions. We are very pleased to further our partnership with NUUO as we team up yet again to bring the leading surveillance solutions to market."

"At NUUO, we strive to expand the possibilities for users to achieve their surveillance mission using various platforms and interfaces," said Amoson Hsu, Product Manager of NUUO Inc. "Arecont Vision's megapixel network cameras using H.264 compression fit that goal perfectly."

Leading the Arecont Vision suite of megapixel imaging solutions are the company's recently introduced line of H.264 IP megapixel cameras with 1.3M, 2M, 3M and 5 megapixels. The cameras incorporate Arecont Vision's fully compliant implementation of H.264 compression technology to provide security professionals with multi-streaming capabilities at various video formats, frame rates, and resolutions. Arecont Vision's H.264 encoder delivers 80 billion operations per second, which results in a 10X on average bandwidth and storage reduction over MJPEG equivalents. Also, Arecont Vision's multi-megapixel cameras offer High Definition resolution that is up to 25X greater than standard resolution IP or analogue cameras.
