VSG acquires Rampart Security
Customers of Rampart Security to gain broad range of security services currently offered by VSG
VSG, one of the top security services providers in the UK, has acquired Oxfordshire-based electronic security specialist, Rampart Security, in a move that will deliver significant benefits for present and future customers of both companies.  Customers of Rampart Security will gain from the broad range of security services currently offered by VSG.  In addition, the backing of VSG, with its extensive resources and expertise, will allow Rampart to develop new and enhanced services that will provide further customer benefits in the future.

For VSG customers, the acquisition will mean that the organisation now has NACOSS Gold accredited in-house capabilities and expertise for the provision of comprehensive electronic security solutions including, CCTV, access control and intruder detection systems.

Following the acquisition, all customers will enjoy the important benefit of a completely seamless service delivery covering all aspects of security, from manned guarding through to the design and installation of sophisticated electronic monitoring systems, and the provision of cost-effective remote monitoring.

"An important factor in our decision to acquire Rampart Security was our previous experience of working closely with the company over the two years," said Keith Francis, Group Managing Director of VSG.  "During this time, we were not only impressed by Rampart's expertise, but also by the company's commitment to innovation and customer service.  In short, Rampart's philosophy closely matches our own and we firmly believe that the acquisition will be an important step forward for all concerned."

"We are equally enthusiastic about joining VSG," said Rampart Security Managing Director, Peter Rutt.  "For some time, we've been looking for ways to make our services available to a wider customer base, and we also have many innovative ideas that it would be difficult for us to develop on our own.  Our new status in the VSG organisation provides the perfect solution!"
