Antoine will focus on growing Traka’s market presence in the Middle East

Continuing its global growth, Traka has recently announced the appointment of Antoine Sanan as Business Development Manager for the Middle East. This comes on the back of two major hires for the global marketing team, which saw Brenda Taylor, Sales and Marketing Director and Tanveer Choudhry, Marketing Manager, join Traka earlier this year.

Based in Dubai but working closely with Traka HQ in the UK, Antoine’s focus will be on growing Traka’s market presence in the Middle East, a key market for the company as it aims to continue the extensive growth, which saw the company achieve a turnover of £13.2million in 2012 and be acquired by market leader ASSA ABLOY.

Traka’s innovation in the intelligent access management market, through both its key management systems and secure locker technology for mobile devices has seen the company secure major customers including the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Asda. The next stage in Traka’s growth plans is to develop a similarly strong presence in the Middle East and the US.

“Having been a core part of the marketing teams at Canon and Microsoft, Antoine brings with him experience in optimising business opportunities while assisting in brand management across multiple markets. This will be vital as we drive Traka and moreover, its products into new markets,” said Brenda Taylor, Sales and Marketing Director at Traka. “We’re delighted to have him on board at this exciting stage of our journey and know he will help us as we look to continue our global growth over 2013 and beyond.”
