Allied Universal, a prominent provider of security and facility services, has announced the appointment of Jordan Avnaim as Global Chief Information Security Officer. Avnaim is tasked with directing the company's global strategy and operations in cybersecurity.
Avnaim, who has more than two decades of experience in the field, is set to lead the creation and application of a robust, risk-oriented cybersecurity program. This initiative aims to safeguard Allied Universal's personnel, systems, data, and technology platforms against the constantly evolving landscape of cyber threats. He will report directly to Loretta Cecil, Global General Counsel, and he will oversee the management of cybersecurity resources and teams, collaborating extensively with technology, legal, operations, and business divisions across over 100 countries and territories.

Avnaim's experience includes advising board members and executive leadership teams, enhancing enterprise security measures, and developing high-performing teams dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure and sensitive data for large, complex global organisations. Operational readiness and collaboration
Avnaim holds a Master of Engineering in Management of Technology with a focus on information security
Prior to joining Allied Universal, Avnaim held the role of Chief Information Security Officer at Hyundai AutoEver America and Entrust Corp., managing global information security across more than 150 countries, 40 offices, and 20 data centres. He has also held significant technology risk and information security leadership roles at the Capital Group Companies.
Avnaim holds a Master of Engineering in Management of Technology with a focus on information security and risk management, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and a member of InfraGard, ISACA, and ISC2.
