Videx Security has introduced new versions of the 3600 Series Videophone.  Based on the popular 3000 Series, the new variants include both “Standard” and “High End” models that incorporate the latest technology, voice switching techniques as well as an elegant and robust design with a white impact resistant ABS plastic housing.

The new Standard 3600 Series improves on many of the functions of the 3000 Series and is also now a more cost effective solution.  The High End Series offers additional functionality provided by hands-free speech and an on-screen display (OSD) for on screen programming and adjustment menus to cover, for example, selection of preferences for privacy time, call tone type, speech volume and other functions.

All 3600 Series models feature a colour 3.5” TFT LCD display and three large buttons on the front to manage the system's operation.

Typically, the 3676 and 3678 videophones are designed for use with the VX2200 door entry system.  Buttons cover call answering/camera recall, setting privacy/door opening and disabling and there is an LED indication for each.

The combination of the 3678 or the 3676 videophone with the VX2200 door entry system is ideal for use in both the private and public sector, including local authorities.  The VX2200 system is an advanced six wire video system suitable for small, medium and large installations.  Both digital and functional entrance panels are available in various styles and finishes.  It is used extensively in the local authority sector due to optional features such as full isolation, concierge and DDA functions.  Systems are available to suit just one apartment or up to 998 apartments, with up to 10 main entrances and up to 15 blocks of apartments, each with up to 10 entrances.

Other models available include the 3688 Videophone is for use with the established VX2300 2 wire video door entry system, the 3656 for the CVK4K, CVK8K & CVR4KV  Video Kits and the 3612 and 3618 for traditional wired systems.
