These new models consist of the 3.5” 4TB WD40EFRX model, 2.5” 1TB WD10JFCX model and 2.5” 750GB WD7500BFCX model. No matter if it is the higher capacity required for business applications or versatility required for home and SOHO applications, ASUSTOR NAS users can enjoy more flexibility and choice when selecting disks for their NAS devices.
All ASUSTOR NAS devices were designed to feature easy hard disk installation and hot swapping and all support the installation of both 2.5” and 3.5” hard disks. Additionally, ASUSTOR NAS supports online capacity expansion. This allows users who have low storage capacity needs or are on a budget to first start with lower capacity hard disks and then upgrade to larger ones as their storage needs grow. During the capacity expansion process the NAS remains online and fully ready for use allowing users to freely access all their data.
