Oculeus, a well-known provider of software solutions for telecommunications services, has successfully implemented its Captura NG platform for ONATi, the major telecommunications operator in French Polynesia.
ONATi, operating under the VINI brand, offers comprehensive national and international fixed-line, mobile, wholesale transit, and broadband services across French Polynesia's 75 islands.
ONATi operates as a subsidiary of the state-owned Office des Postes et Télécommunications de Polynésie Française (OPT), the organisation responsible for the area’s postal and communications infrastructure. This move marks a significant advancement in ONATi's ability to manage its communications services efficiently.
Integration with Captura NG
The deployment has seen ONATi migrate its management systems for interconnect voice traffic and partner coordination, both domestically and internationally, to the Captura NG solution offered by Oculeus.
This integrated platform enables ONATi to streamline its interconnect billing, settlement, and routing optimisation through a unified system. Captura NG enhances the provider’s cost and revenue assurance capabilities through advanced tools, automation, and real-time reporting.
Enhanced features with AI
The platform’s routing optimisation further empowers ONATi to optimise its international voice traffic margins
Captura NG's functionality includes AI-driven features that aid in the operational processing of partner pricing offers, reducing the incidence of manual errors and billing disputes.
The system automates workflow processes via an email portal designed for publishing price and code offers, as well as facilitating the automated exchange of interconnect invoices.
The platform’s routing optimisation further empowers ONATi to optimise its international voice traffic margins, balancing low supplier costs with assured quality.
Affirmations from ONATi
Olivier Chungue, Head of International Development at ONATi, commented, “We are pleased to confirm Oculeus as our selected technology partner to further modernise our interconnect operations. The deployment of Captura NG has been a critical project for ONATi and will directly support our commitments to delivering excellence in both national and international voice activities.”
