CNL will discuss different aspects of PSIM at the summit CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the Teleste Video Surveillance Summit in Dubai on December 7, 2014. Focused around the deployments of surveillance systems in urban environments, the summit will demonstrate the latest technologies and innovations available to solve today’s challenges in Middle Eastern cities. Organised by Finnish technology company Teleste Corporation, the summit will be opened by Ilkka-Pekka Similä, Ambassador from the Embassy of Finland and the Keynote speaker will be H.E Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Hamed. Highlights from the agenda include PSIM for Safer Cities, trends in IP camera technology, microwave transmission in urban environments, technical integration in project planning and analytics in the urban environment. The event brings together leading experts in video analysis, IP cameras, PSIM and security system integration to discuss how today's best security solution providers work together to build reliable, cutting-edge security systems that solve our customers’ problems in the real world. “It is great to have so many of our ecosystem partners together at this event. The Middle East is at the forefront of technology adoption, building safer environments for residents, visitors and commerce”, comments Luis Coello, Regional Sales Director at Teleste. “CNL Software has deployed its PSIM solution in some of the World’s leading cities including Abu Dhabi, London, Washington D.C., Manchester and Atlanta. We welcome their experience and look forward to a great summit.” "Security management professionals with a responsibility for Urban Security are increasingly aware of the benefits of PSIM technology. More and more are specifying higher levels of integration with security and business technologies; offering increased awareness, faster response, process guidance and scalability", says Daniel Bloodworth, General Manager Middle East at CNL Software. "We are finding that agencies responsible for Safe City projects are now looking towards 'Federated' solutions. These solutions allow standalone PSIM deployments at facilities such as law enforcement, highways and critical infrastructure to work collaboratively with each other and hand over control to a dedicated emergency response centre in the event of large-scale, emergency situations. We look forward to having discussions about this and other aspects of PSIM at the summit."
