Digital safeguarding expert, Smoothwall, has announced the appointment of a new senior technical authority to its Leeds-based team; Rob Faulkner. Formally Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Webanywhere, Rob previously worked at Smoothwall for over 7 years and re-joins in testimony to the innovation and investment that Smoothwall has brought to the market in the past 12 months.

With over fifteen years of technical and sales engineering experience, Rob brings with him a wealth of knowledge in digital information security and technical strategy, as well as new market and vertical development.
In this newly created role, Rob will be responsible for leading the internal work to scale out technical knowledge, bridge engineering and customer-facing teams, and build repeatable, scalable processes to support implementations of existing and new product lines across customers of all sizes. In addition, Rob will head up pre-sales and sales engineering across the company, globally.
