Originating from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 examination is designed to ensure that organisations—irrespective of their size or industry—can protect their customers' personal assets. SOC 2 reports hold global recognition, verifying that a company's infrastructure, software, personnel, data management, policies, procedures, and operations have undergone formal evaluation.
