The report, aligned with its THRIVE sustainability philosophy, refines the double materiality assessment, which highlights technological innovation, product safety and quality, and cybersecurity as key focus areas for advancing sustainable development objectives.
Double materiality assessment
Committed to the principle of "Tech for Good," Hikvision is fostering innovation to yield positive societal impacts. Within urban governance, the company has designed end-to-end monitoring systems aimed at protecting essential infrastructure, deploying over 300 devices and 140 scenario-based solutions for traffic management. In terms of environmental conservation, Hikvision’s solutions, which were showcased at the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves, are operational within China’s newly established national parks and cover 50% of the nation's biosphere reserves.
Beyond its business interests, Hikvision is dedicated to social contributions. Spanning 14 regions and countries, the STAR Program supports ecological monitoring initiatives in the Pyrenees and Himalayan glacier research.
