Allegion US, along with its brands Zentra and Gatewise, is set to introduce innovative wallet-based access control systems at OPTECH 2025 in Las Vegas.
Zentra, known for integrating resident key functionality with Google Wallet, will demonstrate its established wallet-based access features in synergy with the Schlage XE360 smart lock, tailored exclusively for multifamily residences.
Complementing this, Gatewise will present its latest wallet-access solutions, enabling seamless tap and go entry for residents and staff through digital keys, even with low device battery levels. Attendees can experience these innovations firsthand at booths 123 and 127 from November 17 to 19 at the MGM Grand.
Gatewise's integration with Allegion
The addition of Gatewise into Allegion's portfolio is aimed at enhancing comprehensive access strategies for multifamily properties.
"Gatewise joining the Allegion family allows us to expand our ability to unify perimeter and in-unit access into one powerful, future-ready strategy for multifamily properties," stated John Goodwin, vice president and general manager of Multifamily Access at Allegion.
The move is set to redefine standards in multifamily living with mobile-first access that benefits both residents and property operations.
Enhancing multifamily security
Amit Sherman, vice president at Gatewise, highlighted the commitment to improving security, stating, "Our goal is simple: make multifamily living more secure and effortless."
The integration of Apple and Google Wallet allows residents to use secure virtual keys stored in their digital wallets for quick access to gates and amenities, requiring no app navigation or face identification. This new feature is designed to provide instant, seamless access through a simple tap on a phone or smartwatch.
Key features of the new wallet-based solutions
- Apple and Android Wallet Resident Keys: Simplifies access across multiple entry points using native wallet functionality.
