Gallagher Animal Management and Nedap have unveiled a new partnership set to transform the way livestock management is conducted. By merging Gallagher’s eShepherd virtual fencing technology with Nedap's SmartTag Ear, farmers will now have access to real-time data on cow health, reproduction, and grazing management.
Founded in New Zealand in 1938, Gallagher has built a robust presence in over 160 countries with its animal management solutions. Known for its innovative electric fencing systems, the company has introduced the eShepherd solution—a solar-powered, GPS-equipped neckband enabling virtual fencing. This technology facilitates efficient and adaptable livestock management.

Established in 1929, Nedap is renowned for its pioneering contributions to livestock management technology. Operating across more than 100 countries, the Dutch company supports the management of over six million cows globally, offering advanced and reliable sensor technology solutions. The integration of Gallagher's eShepherd with Nedap's SmartTag Ear promises to enhance the precision of grazing management while reducing dependency on physical fences.
