Elite Interactive appoints key executives in security

Elite Interactive Solutions, a pioneer in remote video guarding and real-time crime prevention, has introduced three executives to its leadership team. This decision follows a recent capital investment from CIVC Partners and the promotion of Michael Zatulov to CEO.

The new appointments include Jonathan Schwan as Chief Financial Officer, Thomas Stone III as Chief Security Officer, and Eran Yaniv as Vice President of Engineering.

Jonathan Schwan's financial leadership

Jonathan Schwan brings nearly 20 years of financial leadership experience to the company. He previously held the position of Managing Director at CIBC Bank USA for over 16 years, overseeing the Security Industry Group as Group Portfolio Manager. His role involved advising numerous firms within the security and life safety sectors.

Schwan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from North Park University as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He expressed enthusiasm about joining Elite, stating, “I am thrilled to join Elite Interactive Solutions at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth. Thomas Stone joins Elite after a distinguished career with nearly three decades in law enforcement

Thomas Stone joins Elite after a distinguished career with nearly three decades in law enforcement, including 27 years with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), where he most recently served as Sergeant II in the Metropolitan Division Armory. His military background encompasses 25 years in the U.S. Army, with eight years of active, decorated service, including leadership roles in deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Stone's responsibilities as Chief Security Officer include supervising the Security Operations Command Centre, a crucial component of Elite's monitoring services. He also leads the Law Enforcement Executive Board, collaborating with former police chiefs to enhance partnerships between Elite and various law enforcement agencies across the country.

Eran Yaniv's technological expertise

Eran Yaniv holds a degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University in Israel and worked in armed security during his studies. His robust career includes five years at PayPal, leading the AI platform's product team, and seven years at eBay, managing the search platform's product team. Yaniv has also contributed to various leadership roles at companies like HP, Mercury Interactive, and numerous startups.

Based in Idaho with his family, Yaniv is enthusiastic about his new role, stating, “Having worked in both onsite and personal security and spending more than a quarter-century in technology, I am excited to join Elite Interactive Solutions’ mission to help customers feel safer, make better use of their security resources, and significantly reduce the costs of on-site guard services.”
