In August 2009, Brickcom Corp. supplied a certain enterprise with a wireless IP surveillance solution over WiMAX in southern Taiwan. This company needed to build a network system to monitor the stockroom and the factory from the main office building. Due to the distance limitations and the prohibition of road excavation, the transmission had to go wirelessly. The Brickcom cameras adopt the H.264 codec which compresses the image and provides a superior video quality even under environments of limited-bandwidth. "The video quality is really impressive!
