VIVOTEK Inc. announced rapid worldwide growth in sales of its megapixel network cameras in the first quarter of 2010, as a result of remarkable sales growth with a full range of 2-megapixel cameras. According to market research firm IMS Research, VIVOTEK have made impressive market share gains in EMEA and the Americas.

Alastair Hayfield, Research Manager at IMS Research commented: "Megapixel cameras are the video surveillance industry's fastest growing product segment with their high resolution, detailed images, offering greater performance compared to conventional VGA cameras."
