Avigilon, the performance and value leader in high definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance systems, announced that CMC Markets Plc ("CMC Markets",) a London-based financial services company, has deployed the Avigilon HD Surveillance System to protect employees and visitors at its headquarters and secure critical customer information to ensure regulatory compliance with the Financial Services Authority (FSA,) the financial regulator for the UK.

CMC Markets recently relocated its head office, presenting the opportunity to upgrade from an old analogue-based system to the most advanced surveillance system possible. Facility managers seamlessly manage the company's surveillance system using Avigilon Control Center Enterprise NVMS with HD Stream Management, which was built from the ground up to manage HD surveillance video. Avigilon HD cameras were installed at all egress access points throughout the office and cover the lobby, main coffee area and seminar room, all clients areas, IT rooms, and the 4,000 square foot data center. CMC Markets also installed an Avigilon HD network video recorder (NVR) to store up to 30 days of continuous surveillance video.
