Bosch pushes boundaries of technology at IFSEC 2008On stand 16117 at IFSEC 2008, Bosch Security Systems will be demonstrating its total security solutions capability with its complete range of proven, reliable CCTV, intruder and communications technologies.

Seen for the first time in the UK will be the Bosch Divar MR, a new generation CCTV management technology that combines the very highest quality digital video recording with the ability to view and control cameras, handle alarms and monitor device status - all through a common interface.

The Divar MR is well suited to a wide range of retail, education and leisure applications.  It provides simultaneous, real-time recording on up to 16 channels and uses MPEG-4 compression technology to significantly reduce bandwidth and increase storage capability (whilst reducing the overall storage costs).  Both the both eight and 16-channel versions of Divar MR are standard, and a variety of control and input options are available including mouse, CCTV keyboard, front panel (which includes a jog dial for even faster access) and IR remote control.  The unit is compatible with all other Bosch CCTV technology as well as third-party domes and PTZ cameras.

Also on show will be the innovative Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) - the enterprise IP video security solution that provides seamless management of digital video, audio and data across any IP network.  It is designed to work with Bosch CCTV products as part of a total video security management system, and provides system-wide user management, alarm handling, health monitoring and configuration.Bosch pushes boundaries of technology at IFSEC 2008

From its Intruder range Bosch will be displaying its new Professional Series detector which uses Bosch's innovative Sensor Data Fusion technology to integrate and process data from up to five different internal sensors, with the ability to adjust sensitivities for the most intelligent and accurate alarm decisions ever.  Active white light suppression eliminates false alarms from white light such as car headlights, and Multi-Point Anti-Mask with Spray Detect technology is also included, compliant with all of the latest international regulatory standards for detection of objects covering or placed in front of the detector.

Easy Series wLSN for smaller commercial sites and residential premises will also be exhibited.  The Bosch wLSN is a revolutionary two-way 868MHz narrow band communications technology that ensures every status message or alarm signal sent by each device is received and acknowledged by the control panel, providing greater security, reliability and convenience than existing wireless technologies.

The wLSN communications protocol uses encryption to secure the data being transmitted and prevent "replay" attacks.  Synchronous communications prevents two devices from communicating information simultaneously and during periods of inactivity the devices enter a ‘sleep mode', which results in an extended battery life.
