Genetec, global provider of world-class IP video surveillance and access control
Mr. Charles Cousins joins Genetec as Managing Director-Asia Pacific and will head the Singapore office

Genetec announced recently that the company is opening a sales office in Singapore as part of its ongoing growth strategy. The Asia Pacific (APAC) market needs physical security and public safety solutions that are flexible and innovative, and the timing is perfect to start promoting Genetec's solutions more aggressively in this market. Mr. Charles Cousins joins Genetec as Managing Director-Asia Pacific and will head the Singapore office, build Genetec's network of systems integrators, and tie relationships with numerous partners in the region.

Unmatched scalability and true open architecture is what differentiates Genetec from the rest and is the reason why businesses from all over the world, from various industries, have invested in their innovative solutions.

"Facilities in the APAC market realise the importance of tightening their physical security," says Mr. Cousins. "The demand for security solutions such as IP video surveillance, access control and licence plate recognition in the APAC market is growing rapidly, therefore we are now entering the market to capture growing opportunities." Mr. Cousins has more than 15 years of experience establishing APAC operations for MNCs, and building channel partnerships, most recently in the IT security and homeland security industries.
