Antaira Technologies is a leading developer and supplier of Device Networking and is proud to introduce its first-ever long distance IP67 Wireless Outdoor AP/Client/Bridge called the APX-110N5. 

Antaira Technologies’ new APX-110N5 wireless device is a managed unit with a built-in Web Console that allows users to configure the unit as a Wireless Access Point, Client, or Bridge. It supports IEEE 802.11a/n wireless communication standards and has a data rate of up to 300Mbps.  The APX-110N5 is PoE PD (Power Device) IEEE 802.3af compliant and has a built-in 19dBi@5GHz dual-polarisation antenna. This antenna supports long distance communication, and is adjustable with an elevation scale capability of 20°up/down with an internal signal strength indication by the Web Console.

Users have the ability to use the APX-110N5 wireless device in various market applications, such as, security for video surveillance systems, transportation for message boards, building automation for school campuses, and automation for irrigation systems.  The APX-110N5 can be powered from either the 24 or 48 volt PoE standard.

The unit comes with a ground terminal built into the pole mounting screw for protection.  It features a hidden SSID, MAC address filtering, and WEP/WPA/WPA2 64 and 128 Bit as well as IEEE 802.11i / 802.1 x security authentications. This device is also compliant with part 15 of the FCC Rules.

The APX-110N5 also features an IP67 waterproof housing that is created from an ABS flame retardant plastic. The dimensions of the unit are 86 x 257 x 257 mm (3.39 x 10.11 x 10.11 in.) and the unit weight is 1.85lbs.  It has an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C and can withstand an ambient relative humidity of 5 to 95% (non-condensing.)
