Acre Security has introduced Acre Bridge, a new device enabling current on-premises access control systems to connect directly to Acre Access Control (AAC).
This launch allows organisations to transition to cloud integration at a pace that matches their operational demands, aligning with the need for phased technology upgrades. Acre Bridge is set for a grand unveiling at ISC West 2026.
Hybrid security environments
Many organisations currently operate in mixed-mode environments, combining cloud and local security solutions. Acre Bridge facilitates seamless interaction between people, devices, and events by linking legacy controllers with AAC. This ensures smooth parallel operation of existing and cloud-native systems during transitions, allowing access to advanced functionalities such as mobile credentials and centralised management remotely.
In response to strategic priorities influenced by partner feedback, Acre Security is focusing on enabling modernisation with minimal disruption. Kumar Sokka, CEO of Acre Security, stated, “Last year was about listening and defining our direction forward. Our partners want modernisation without disruption and a clearer path to long-term growth. Acre Bridge delivers that flexibility, and now our focus is execution — simplifying how we work together and enabling partners and customers to modernise with confidence.”

Alongside Acre Bridge, a renewed global partner programme has been launched to assist partners adapting to hybrid and cloud-centric business models.
Enhancements include upgrades to the partner portal with RevCloud, streamlining quoting and ordering processes. The programme aims at better aligning incentives, resources, and structure with the evolving business models of both on-premises and cloud environments. Ongoing role in hybrid deployments
Acre's comprehensive strategy prioritises a unified security suite anchored by Acre Access Control. This platform brings together access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and video surveillance into a cohesive offering. It continues to support reliable on-premises platforms, acknowledging their enduring importance in hybrid security deployments.
Attendees can view a demonstration of Acre Bridge at Acre's booth #23015 during ISC West from March 25-27, 2026, at the Venetian Expo Center in Las Vegas.
