The forum-cum-specialised exhibit, now on its sixth year is the country's foremost assembly for knowledge-sharing of safety and security concerns
PROTECT is held every year to give leaders and decision makers from government and business communities a venue for discussion and exchange of ideas and experiences to aid both sectors in dealing with security matters and ensure business continuity. The forum covers both man-made disasters (terrorism) and natural disasters caused by climate change.
The 2011 series will examine past disasters for lessons learned, will discuss present risks and what may be expected in the future, engage stakeholders and strengthen communities and businesses to pursue resiliency and establish the roles of Media, Telecom, IT and modern technologies for private-public sector partnership in pursuing security and safety measures for business and the community.
Over 200 local and international industry experts and professionals, government representatives, members of the armed forces, intelligence officers, members of the diplomatic community, and senior management officials of key companies from different industry sectors from different countries in Asia and other parts of the world will be attending.
Key Speakers will be global industry experts and Asian national officials involved in crisis and emergency management, security, safety and environment.
A social cocktail which will play host to top government officials, members of the diplomatic community and international guests from the industry will provide fantastic opportunity for partners, sponsors, conference delegates, and speakers to network.
The last session of the conference will also provide for mutual opportunities for a limited number of partners/exhibitors to introduce their products to the conference delegates for them to discover solutions for their safety challenges.
The event also offers product demos by partners/exhibitors in their showcase stands beside the conference area.
