HDCVI, first launched by Dahua in 2012, is a revolutionary technology that initiated the new era of 720P / 1080P HD monitoring for the video surveillance industry. It provides a high-resolution video surveillance solution alternative to IP video, with added benefit of simplicity and immunity to cyberattacks. Over the next five years, Dahua upgraded it into HDCVI 4.0, which boasts several major technological breakthroughs in terms of higher resolution, more efficient encoding, power over cable, smartness and compatibility.
