Brivo Systems and Vector Electric host implementation and training seminar in Michigan

Brivo and Vector will be presenting the physical access control capabilities of the Brivo ACS OnSite Aparato at the seminar

Vector Electric, Inc. a Michigan based government systems integration firm and Brivo Systems, LLC a leader in Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for government security management, are jointly hosting an implementation and training seminar at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Detroit March 20, 2012.

In 2004, then sitting President Bush, issued the Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) which mandated, in part, that certain compliance measures be implemented by all federal agencies in relation to the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) of federal employees and contractors for the overall security of government facilities. Since that time federal agencies have had to educate themselves as to how to best address the directive as it related their individual missions.

To that end Vector and Brivo have been working together since 2010 on the research and development of customer driven solutions for specific government agencies. In November of 2011 a portion of that solution was judged as “top- notch” and received an award for the “Best Integrated System for HSPD-12/ FIPS-201 Compliance” at the Government Security News Homeland Security Awards in Washington DC.

Vector and Brivo will be presenting the newly enhanced physical access control (PACS) capabilities of the Brivo ACS OnSite Aparato systems currently being installed in DHS Land Port of Entry facilities in the State of Michigan.  The event will be located in downtown Detroit at the Doubletree/ Hilton Hotel 525 W. Lafayette Blvd. Detroit, MI.  9:00 AM- 2:00 PM.
