Secutech Thailand 2025, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), successfully promoted collaboration between security and fire safety innovators and stakeholders in Thailand’s smart city initiatives.
The event, which took place from 5 to 7 November, coincided with Fire & Safety Thailand, the Thailand Smart City Expo, and EdTEX, bringing together over 400 exhibitors from countries like Australia, China, India, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the UAE.

The exhibition showcased a variety of state-of-the-art products, including AI-powered surveillance and advanced fire suppression systems, attracting more than 12,500 visitors.
This strong turnout, featuring government officials, industry experts, and end users, reaffirmed Secutech Thailand’s status as an essential platform for integrating security and fire safety solutions into the smart city development of Thailand.

Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch, highlighted the event’s role in advancing Thailand’s smart city goals, stating, “We all share a common vision for safer, smarter, and more sustainable cities.”
The collaboration with N.C.C. Management and Development to co-locate Secutech with the Thailand Smart City Expo and EdTEX created a holistic environment where stakeholders could converge and address the evolving needs of Thai cities, industries, and communities.
Growth in participation
According to Ms Tsai, the event witnessed a rise in both visitor and exhibitor numbers due to cross-sector synergy and staying ahead of market trends.
The increased participation illustrates the growing demand for integrated solutions in security, safety, and smart applications that align with Thailand’s urban transformation initiatives such as Thailand 4.0 and the Eastern Economic Corridor.
Networking and business opportunities
Secutech Thailand facilitated over 115 business matchmaking sessions, enhancing networking among participants and fostering significant partnerships. Ms Tsai remarked, “By actively pairing innovators with local decision-makers, we create meaningful connections that ensure the latest solutions reach those shaping Thailand’s smart cities.”

(Sanlien Technology), introduced advanced earthquake sensors from Taiwan, while Synology’s Country Manager, Mr Rahat Boontunjeen, focused on network storage solutions with anti-ransomware protection and CCTV management.
Launch of new software and products
Innodep Inc., represented by Mr Bruno Kim, Manager, seized the opportunity to present their latest physical security platform software, aiming to establish new partnerships in the region.
Similarly, Dubai-based firefighting manufacturer NAFFCO, with over 100 current projects in Thailand, used the event to showcase their fire safety solutions and solidify local partnerships, as noted by Mr Baiju P. Viswambharan, Export Manager.
Exploration of AI and IoT solutions
The event also delved into AI and IoT technologies affecting smart and secure cities. Attendees discussed AI's role in enhancing smart factories, urban planning, and disaster prevention.
Mr Srangrath Hatthawong, Vice President of the Thai Intelligent CCTV Association (iCA), detailed the use of AI in smart city development to improve surveillance and facilitate responsive decision-making.

Mr Paitoon Ngammuak, Deputy Director of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), expressed interest in using the fair to explore innovative tools for city safety, such as sensors for landslide, flood, and chemical hazard detection. He highlighted the fair’s ability to provide insights into global best practices, enabling more efficient and effective local applications.

“This expansion reflects the growing market demand for integrated solutions that connect security, safety, and smart applications with smart city development – demonstrating how these sectors mutually contribute to support the urban transformation of Thailand, in line with national initiatives like Thailand 4.0 and the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor.”

Secutech Thailand’s fringe programme featured a diverse range of topics exploring the technologies shaping smart and secure cities. Highlights included sessions on AI’s impact on smart factories, the role of IoT and AI in urban planning, disaster prevention, sustainable CCTV, cybersecurity, and the development of Thailand’s AI platform for smart city innovation.
“This year’s joint platform between Secutech Thailand and the Thailand Smart City Expo provided the perfect stage to explore how security and fire safety innovations can integrate directly with smart city development.”
“We used this platform to talk about the implementation of AI camera and image analysis technologies that advance Smart City development to recognise faces, detect suspicious behaviors, and track incidents like vehicle theft with the goal of facilitating faster, data-driven decision-making by city administrators,” said Mr Srangrath Hatthawong, Vice President, Thai Intelligent CCTV Association (iCA).
Latest tools and technologies for monitoring
“Secutech Thailand offers an excellent opportunity to explore the latest tools and technologies for city safety monitoring, including solutions for landslides, floods, and chemical hazards. We are looking for equipment and sensors that can detect risks and provide early warnings to enhance public safety.”
“The fair also highlights many innovations already implemented abroad, allowing us to learn from global best practices without travelling overseas.
