The annual security awards 2014/2015 is organised by HKSA The Annual Security Awards 2014/2015, organised by the HKSA is separated into four categories. TeleEye RX538 entered Category 4 – Best Crime Preventive Product of the Year for Video Surveillance Products. Entries were judged based on product innovation, uniqueness, potential applications and the benefits to users. TeleEye RX538 mobile DVR met all the requirements and was selected by a judging panel composed of all the Executive Committee Members for this prestigious award. The RX538 operates on 3G/4G mobile network and where low latency and unreachable fixed networks are a concern, TeleEye SMAC-M allows real time monitoring and recording for the control room operators. The recorded data can be extracted and stored onto a separate storage device and retrieved at a later point in time.
