Mia Merrel is presently the Director of Product Management - Commercial Mechanical Hardware, Access and Egress Hardware Group at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions. Prior to this, she was also a senior product manager and manager at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, content and founder of Door Hardware Nerds, a product design engineer at Sargent Manufacturing and a project engineer at Wheelen Engineering. Mia holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
