Alan Forman is a President at Altronix. Alan began his career at the apprentice level working for a local security company. In 1974, Alan founded Arrow Protection Services Inc., which quickly grew to be one of the area’s leading companies in the installation and service of commercial and residential alarm systems with its own central station. In 1984 Alan launched Altronix Corp. in collaboration with a talented engineer named Jonathan Sohnis – his co-founder and partner. Over the years, Alan has further elevated his presence in the industry by serving as a Board Member for the Security Industry Association, as President of the Staten Island Alarm Association, and as a Board member for the Metropolitan Burglar & Fire Alarm Association of New York. Alan is very involved in many philanthropic organisations both locally and globally funding medical research aimed at improving the lives of children and the elderly.
