Through this presence, they will emphasise how workforce strength can be bolstered through upskilling and the recruitment of apprentices.
Future workforce needs
Additionally, Skills for Security is hosting the National Qualifiers for the WorldSkills UK Electronic Fire and Security Competition. This event will witness the participation of 30 apprentices, who will demonstrate their capabilities in fire systems, intrusion detection, and access control. These skills are crucial for new engineers in the sector.
