Scality, known for its cyber-resilient storage software tailored to the AI era, has announced the appointment of Greg DiFraia as the new Senior Vice President of AI Alliances and Partnerships. DiFraia, formerly the CEO at Inlayer, will be at the helm of Scality's global AI ecosystem strategy.
His responsibilities will focus on fostering strategic partnerships and spearheading go-to-market initiatives aimed at boosting enterprise AI adoption.
Extensive industry experience
With over twenty years of experience in scaling technology businesses, DiFraia is well-versed in data storage, global markets, strategic sales, and alliances. His background, which includes roles as a field Chief Technology Officer and ecosystem leader, positions him uniquely to influence operations at both the field and executive levels.

During his tenure, he was instrumental in driving the company's growth and expanding its market presence. In addition, he has served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Turbonomic and held various leadership positions at Dell EMC, where he was involved in global sales for the ECS software-defined storage platform and participated in launching key object storage platforms like Atmos and ECS.
Focus on AI alliances and ecosystem
In his new role, DiFraia's focus will be on broadening Scality's AI alliances and partner ecosystem. This will involve close collaboration with top technology providers, system integrators, and cloud platforms to create distinctive solutions for enterprise AI workloads. His appointment highlights Scality's commitment to AI and innovative data-driven use cases.

DiFraia's appointment comes as Scality continues to invest in AI innovation, including expanding its AI ecosystem certification programme, which now features validations across more than 20 AI and machine learning tools and frameworks.
