NEXCOM Group is set to make a significant appearance at COMPUTEX by partnering with Intel to present their advancements at the "Robotics & Edge AI Pavilion." The event, taking place at TWTC Hall 1, Booth #A0618, will centre around the theme "Physical AI and Manufacturing On-Site."
The company will exhibit how the integration of visual perception with real-time motion control fosters Physical AI. This approach supports the transformation from data collection to intelligent decision-making, forming a complete edge AI structure for the next era of smart manufacturing.
Complex industrial applications
Highlighting their capabilities, NEXCOM Robotic Solutions, known as NexCOBOT, have collaborated with Inventec to develop a dual-arm AI solution applicable to complex industrial tasks.
Utilising the NEX619 edge computing platform, this system performs precision assembly by incorporating AI vision for trajectory planning and human gesture recognition, along with the GRC2 M300-I controller ensuring real-time motion control. This technological advancement aims to significantly boost production efficiency.
AI-driven production solutions
This approach allows decision-makers to evaluate key performance indicators
For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), NEXCOM introduces the "AI Production Master," a tailored solution for production management. It offers real-time monitoring of various indicators like efficiency and output, utilising NISE110 gateways for CNC data acquisition.
The system combines NexDATA on the AIGE1000 for data standardisation and leverages AI-X powered by Intel® Arc™ Pro B60 for local Generative AI analysis and GPT services, prioritising data privacy. This approach allows decision-makers to evaluate key performance indicators using natural language queries.
Humanoid robot innovations
In collaboration with Graphen, NEXCOM presents a humanoid robot solution at the pavilion using the MARS400 T10 and RCB400 T20 controllers, built on NVIDIA® platforms. This demonstration includes the robot performing actions such as waving and picking up objects, exemplifying how Functional Safety technology contributes to reliable human-robot interactions.
Attendees at the Robotics & Edge AI Pavilion are encouraged to engage with NEXCOM's experts as they illustrate the use of Intel technology for implementing edge computing in robotic applications and manufacturing management.
Expert discussions
Scheduled sessions include "From Concept to Production Line: Practical Implementation of Edge AI for SME Manufacturing" featuring Tim Juan, Vice President of NEXCOM Industry AIoT, on June 3, 2026, from 14:00 to 14:20. Another session, "Physical AI Controllers: The Brain Behind Autonomous Machines" by Joey Lin, Assistant Vice President of NEXCOM Robotic Solutions, will occur on June 4, 2026, from 13:00 to 13:20.
