The new version 1.4 of the MxMC software platform includes additional improvements and offers increased stability. The new tree structure supports hierarchical groups, subgroups and a variable sidebar. The layout and grid view can be optimised either automatically or manually to best adapt to the size of the screen. New options for defining passwords will increase security during authentication.

Besides the standard setting, the “complex” mode can demand that a password be comprised of special characters and a mix of upper and lower-case letters. It is also possible to determine when a password will expire and must be reconfigured. Action log and auto-login are also available, as well as minor modifications that improve user friendliness and comfort.
